Community Update – Meeting Status on 5/272026
A meeting with city representatives had been anticipated for Wednesday to discuss questions regarding preserve-related construction activity.
At the last minute, the meeting did not take place. We have not yet received documentation or an explanation regarding the cancellation.
Our goal remains the same:
- Understand the purpose and evolution of the project
- Gather facts and official information
- Ask thoughtful questions
- Encourage respectful dialogue
We will continue documenting observations and sharing updates as information becomes available.
We asked the city the following questions 1- Stop cement pour , theirs was we will paint , we said that will last like a year max then it is still concrete . There are better materials that can be used 2-Can you give us the exact number of trees , shrubs you can plant and give us a time line 3-Cover all loose dirt in such way that we can use the backyard and pools are not covered with dirt 4- Does not become a trail or recreational area 5-How will this be maintained because I am sure in a year this passage will be filled with dirt. All they did was cancel the meeting which was supposed to held today.
